InterEast Certified by Great Place To Work, Aims to Become One of the Best Workplaces in Sweden
InterEast’s commitment to becoming one of the best workplaces in Sweden is reflected in its recent certification by Great Place to Work. The certification recognizes their dedication to creating an excellent work environment that fosters collaboration, communication, and a positive company culture. By addressing the challenges that surfaced in last year’s survey, they have seen an improvement in ratings and are one step closer to their goal.
“We are over the moon to receive this certification from Great Place to Work for the second consecutive year,” emphasized InterEast CEO, Oscar Törnqvist. “It’s a testament to the remarkable journey we’ve undertaken in nurturing a sense of belonging, friendship, and purpose among our teams. At InterEast, we greatly value fostering meaningful connections and a genuine appreciation for our colleagues. This certification is a big pat on the back for all the hard work we’ve put into building a workplace where every member feels valued, supported, and genuinely enjoys working alongside each other.”
“What is Great Place to Work?”
Great Place to Work certification is awarded to companies that meet the organization’s high standards for workplace culture. The certification is based on employee feedback and an assessment of the company’s policies, procedures, and practices. InterEast scored high in all areas: trust, communication, teamwork, and leadership.
This certification is a big pat on the back for all the hard work we’ve put into building a workplace where every member feels valued, supported, and genuinely enjoys working alongside each other.
InterEast’s commitment to its employees is evident in its workplace policies and practices. They offer flexible work schedules, health and wellness programs, and ongoing training and development opportunities. They also encourage employee participation in decision-making processes and put a truckload of responsibility on their employees when it comes to their ability to solve problems. At InterEast you are not put in a box doing the same thing all day. You are given more responsibility and diverse tasks than in similar companies.
Room for improvement
InterEast has set the bar high for itself, aiming to be one of Sweden’s top workplaces in 2025. Even though a certification has been achieved two years in a row, the last climb is often the toughest. The wonderful aspect of the survey conducted by Great Place to Work is that it identifies focus areas for improvement in the coming year. With this in mind, InterEast is actively implementing measures to cultivate a more dynamic work environment that unleashes the full potential of its staff. While progress has been made, there is still ample room for growth, and InterEast remains committed to its pursuit.
“One thing that will never change is the belief we place in our employees as our most valuable asset,” said Oscar Törnqvist. “We will continue to invest in their growth and development, creating an environment that supports them in the best possible ways. This is more important than ever in today’s harsh economic climate. I am rolling up my sleeves as we speak and am excited to get to work to improve and achieve our goal of becoming one of the best places to work in Sweden.”
